THIS EVENT IS BY DONATION ONLY.

SWEAT won the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for drama and is a truly remarkable American story that deals with issues of poverty, race, class, and discrimination. SWEAT switches between 2000 and 2008, “telling the story of a group of friends that work together on the factory floor, and when the plant threatens to cut wages and lay off workers, the friends turn against each other as they struggle to stay afloat.”  Nottage shows how the “deindustrialization of a town can leave its population angry and empty.
