The opening recital of our Spotlight on the Symphony Recital Series will feature six string musicians, including concertmaster Nigel Armstrong, Daniel Stewart on viola, principal viola Chad Kaltinger, principal cello Jonah Kim, and assistant principal cello Saul Richmond-Rakerd.
Our second recital will feature a septet of principal musicians performing Stravinsky’s compelling parable of a soldier who trades his fiddle to the devil in return for unlimited economic gain.
Our third and final recital will feature two of our incredibly talented percussionists, Kristen Lou and Kumiko Ito. They will be performing a variety of selections from different genres on an assortment of percussion instruments.
